Vincent Fournier- France Fournier is a world-renowned fine art photographer based in Paris France who explores significant mythologies of the future. His work can be found in the permanent collections of the Met Museum New York, LVMH Foundation, Centre Pompidou @the Mori Museum Tokyo. Brasilia Freeze Frame of a Future Past Vincent's work on the city of Brasilia comes from a mixture of fascination and nostalgia for the stories and representations of the Future. Indeed, the city and capital of Brazil designed by Oscar Niemeyer, and which was built in 4 years in the middle of a desert, embodies the vision of the future of in the 1960s. Space Project Produced over a period of a decade from 2007-2017, Fournier documents the past and future of space exploration. The photos are a deliberate mix of historical and documentarian vision of space adventure with scenes staged by cinema, and Fournier's childhood memories as well as a journey into our future.
