For the 2019 edition of Paris Photo, M97 Gallery is pleased to present a thematic group exhibition of works by 6 contemporary artists working in a wide range of photographic practices. Forming an eclectic range of styles, these works represent the evolution and diversity of Chinese photographic creation over the last decade. As one of the few exhibitors representing Chinese artists at Paris Photo, M97 aims to depict an accurate overview of 21st century Chinese photography, and to invite the international audience to discover and understand the very specific history and issues of photographic practices in contemporary China. For the gallery’s fifth presentation at Paris Photo we will exhibit works by artists Huang Xiaoliang, Sun Yanchu, Cai Dongdong, Wang Ningde, Luo Dan, and Han Lei.
