Since its inception over 35 years ago, Howard Greenberg Gallery has built a vast and ever-changing collection of some of the most important photographs in the medium. We plan to continue our commitment to extend an awareness of and appreciation for fine art photography, with a focus on pure vintage photography. We plan to include works from the first half of the twentieth century that establish some of the visual language that is used by photographers today. Our exhibition will include works by master photographers Paul Strand, Edward Steichen and Edward Weston along with work by classic humanists such as Gordon Parks, and Bruce Davidson. We are proud to be able to complement this selection with two new bodies of work: Jungjin Lee’s Voice and Edward Burtynsky’s Africa.
