Christophe Guye Gallery presents a selection of contemporary artists, all of whom work in innovative ways and propose ways of artistic expression beyond the traditional boundaries of their genres. One part presents a selection of works by three icons of fashion photography, Miles Aldridge, Erik Madigan Heck and Emma Summerton, whose unique style is praised both in the fashion industry and in the world of visual arts. With a strongly conceptual approach, they play with different visual layers to manage this vision of glamour, seduction and dreams. The other part presents a selection of contemporary Japanese artists, such as Rinko Kawauchi, Yoshinori Mizutani and Risaku Suzuki, who use different approaches to prove that they have unique visions of capturing the world around them. The resulting images oscillate between Japanese tradition and intimate and emotionally charged photography, lending the works a poetic depth that is characteristic in Japanese photography.
